Brian Scott won the Camping World Trucks race at Dover International Speedway on Saturday for his first career victory in any NASCAR series.

Dennis Setzer had a season-best second-place finish in the caution-filled race, while Ron Hornanday Jr. and Kyle Busch were derailed by tire woes.

David Starr was third, followed by Jason White and Johnny Sauter.

The 21-year-old Scott won for the first time in 39 career trucks races.

Brad Keselowski has raced to his first NASCAR Nationwide Series victory of the season, taking the lead off a restart in the final laps at Dover International Speedway.

Kyle Busch led most of the second half of Saturday’s race and appeared on the way to his third win of the season. But he seemed to have tire trouble off the restart that came after the caution with seven laps left.

A 34-year-old Kansas driver has died after crashing in a race at Knoxville Raceway in Iowa.

Chad McDaniel of Concordia, Kan., died after striking another car, injuring his head and neck during a U.S. Auto Club Midget Nationals race on Friday night.

Mercy Medical Center spokesman Gregg Lagan says McDaniel was pronounced dead at the hospital at 12:37 a.m. Saturday.

McDaniel had scored five top-10 finishes in six races this season.

Fourth-generation Earnhardt driver Jeffrey Earnhardt has failed to qualify for what he was hoping would be his debut race in the Nationwide Series.

Earnhardt was the lone driver Saturday who did not crack the 43-car field at Dover International Speedway. He’s the grandson of Dale Earnhardt, the nephew of Dale Earnhardt Jr., and son of Kerry.

Instead, Jeffrey Earnhardt will run a partial schedule this year in NASCAR’s second-tier series.
